Let a Bitch Know

Produced by French DJ, producer, and vocalist Kiddy Smile, released on Defected Records under exclusive license from his own Neverbeener Records imprint, with a remix package featuring reworkings from Gene Farris, Boston Bun, Catz 'N Dogz, and Alinka. The track brought Kiddy Smile's Parisian ballroom and vogue house sensibility to the Defected catalogue, with the Blessed Madonna featuring it in her sets and Luke Solomon championing it across multiple DJ charts on the platform. A further Honey Dijon remix on Glitterbox Recordings in 2020 extended the track's life into a second cycle of club support from Sam Divine, Eats Everything, MistaJam, and David Penn. The Defected release served as Kiddy Smile's international breakthrough, leading to collaborations with Vitalic, The Crookers, and Belgian pop star Angèle, and establishing him as one of the most visible figures connecting the Parisian ballroom scene with the global house music mainstream.
