God Always (Take It)

God Always (Take It)

Sharam · 2011
Recording

Sharam released the track in 2011 on Yoshitoshi Recordings as a solo production, first circulating it as a promo edit before the extended club version was issued for DJs. The release drew on a vocal sample from M People’s “Moving on Up (MK Movin’ Mix).” The track marked part of Sharam’s 2011 solo run on his own Yoshitoshi imprint and was promoted in club form rather than as a mainstream pop single. It was also included on Yoshitoshi: Best of 2011 Vol. II, underscoring its label-floor relevance. It remained in circulation as a DJ tool, including the FTDK remix used in later Sharam sets and the Night & Day compilation. Its hook from M People’s “Moving on Up” kept it tied to a recognizable house lineage.
