Get My Mind Right

Francesco Barbaglia (Crookers) re-entered the dance music spotlight in 2016 with this track on Defected Records, featuring LA-based singer-songwriter Mike City. The production emerged from Crookers' growing relationship with Defected, where he was also remixing and mixing material for the label. Released as the follow-up to 'A Place In My Heart' featuring Kym Mazelle, this mid-tempo vocal house track caught attention from international radio and DJs during Crookers' notable return to dance music after a period away from the scene. The track was included on the 4 To The Floor Volume 02 compilation, which celebrates house music that has stood the test of time. It has been remixed by producers including Mismatch, extending its reach within the house music community.
