Pieces

“Pieces” was released in 2008 as Chase & Status featuring Plan B on RAM Records and also appeared on the album “More Than Alot.” The track was written by Saul Milton, William Kennard and Ben Drew, with production by Chase & Status and mastering by Stuart Hawkes. The single was the lead release from “More Than Alot” and reached number 70 on the UK Official Singles Chart. It also reached number 1 on the UK Dance Singles Chart, helping establish Chase & Status’s crossover profile before their later major-label singles. “Pieces” remains one of Chase & Status’s defining early vocal singles and a key Plan B collaboration before “End Credits.” Its continued presence on “More Than Alot” reissues keeps it central to the duo’s first album era.
