What Is Light? Where Is Laughter?

What Is Light? Where Is Laughter?

Twin Atlantic · 2008
Recording

“What Is Light? Where Is Laughter?” was first released in 2008 through King Tut's Recordings after Twin Atlantic signed a single deal with the label. The later Red Bull Records single and “Vivarium” version credit the song to Twin Atlantic and Sam McTrusty, with production by John Travis. The single marked an early national step for the Glasgow band after their debut EP “A Guidance From Colour.” It later reached number 18 on the UK Official Physical Singles Chart and number 35 on the UK Official Independent Singles Chart. “What Is Light? Where Is Laughter?” remained part of Twin Atlantic’s early identity through its 2009 Red Bull Records reissue and inclusion on “Vivarium.” Its later remix pairing with Skrillex kept the song visible beyond the original King Tut's Recordings release.
