Stakes Is High

“Stakes Is High” was issued in 1997 on the UK 12-inch “Stakes Is High / Checkmate” by D.T. The release appeared on Eastside Records as EAST 10 and carried Stage 1000 publishing. The record sat in Eastside Records’ 1997 run of club 12-inch releases. Its inclusion on the “World Dance - The Album” mix placed it alongside contemporary cuts from Ed Rush, DJ Krust, Boymerang, Dillinja, Decoder and Future Forces Inc. “Stakes Is High” remains documented through the Eastside Records catalogue and late-1990s mix-compilation listings. It is retained in collector circulation as one of D.T.’s core vinyl releases for the label.
