Guilty
Barbra Streisand · 1980Recording
Recorded on February 25, 1980, for Columbia's Guilty album, with Barbra Streisand and Barry Gibb and produced by Barry Gibb, Albhy Galuten, and Karl Richardson. The session took place at Middle Ear Studio in Miami Beach, Florida. The title track was issued as a single from Guilty in October 1980 and became a top-three Billboard Hot 100 hit in the United States. It also won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, making it one of the album's defining releases. It remains one of Streisand's signature duets with Barry Gibb and a lasting centerpiece of the Guilty era. Its continued recognition rests on the song's hit status, Grammy win, and enduring association with the Streisand-Gibb collaboration.
