Feed Me Your Love

Recorded in 1975 at Blue Rock Studio in New York City for the Yum Yum album. The session was produced by The Fatback Band, with Eddie Karvin and Jim Rothbun engineering and a later remix at Media Sound in New York City. It appeared on Yum Yum, the 1975 album that marked the Fatback Band’s tighter, dancefloor-oriented mid-1970s sound. The track is a deep album cut from a record associated with the group’s shift toward disco-influenced funk. It has remained part of the band’s catalog through later compilations, including Original Funk: The Best of the Fatback Band. The song continues to circulate on reissues and digital platforms as a representative cut from the Yum Yum era.
