Livin for Love

Natalie Cole recorded Livin' For Love for the 2000 compilation Natalie Cole: Greatest Hits, Vol. 1. The single credits Brian Rawling, Graham Stack and Mark Taylor as producers, with backing vocals by Cindy Mizelle, Deborah Cooper and Natalie Cole. The single returned Cole to the US dance chart in 2000 and became her second number-one entry on Billboard's dance chart. Its remix package by Frankie Knuckles, Hex Hector and Bob Sinclar placed Cole's contemporary vocal recording into the turn-of-the-century club market. Livin' For Love remained Cole's key late-career club single and continued to circulate through remix editions and greatest-hits releases. Its Frankie Knuckles and Bob Sinclar versions kept the song connected to both classic New York house and French club production.
