Flowersz (Original Mix)

Armand Van Helden recorded Flowerz with Roland Clark as the featured vocalist for the album 2 Future 4 U. Van Helden wrote and produced the track, building it around material from Donald Byrd's Think Twice. Released in 1999 on FFRR, the single followed Van Helden's number-one hit U Don't Know Me and reached number 18 on the UK Official Singles Chart. It also reached the Eurochart Hot 100 and helped carry the 2 Future 4 U campaign into the spring 1999 club market. The track remains one of Van Helden's best-known late-1990s singles and one of Roland Clark's prominent guest vocal performances. Its Donald Byrd sample and later digital reissues kept it in circulation across house and jazz-funk sampling histories.
