Feelin' Good

Recorded in Montreal during the late-1970s Canadian disco boom, featuring Francine McGee as singer, songwriter and keyboardist with a studio ensemble drawn from the city's dance-music scene. Released as a 12-inch disco single in 1978, it became a major club record and was widely championed by DJs in the UK and Europe. Its driving arrangement and vocal performance made it a standout dance-floor favorite. The track developed a lasting cult following among disco collectors and rare-groove DJs. It has been repeatedly re-edited, remixed and sampled in DJ culture, remaining a staple of disco revival sets.
