Re-Rewind (feat. Craig David)

Artful Dodger recorded the track with Craig David after David began working with Mark Hill in Hill’s Southampton recording setup; the song grew out of those local sessions between Hill, Pete Devereux, and David. Released in 1999, it became Artful Dodger’s breakthrough single and a defining UK garage crossover hit, while also giving Craig David his first major exposure. It peaked at number 2 on the UK Official Singles Chart. The track is remembered as a garage classic that helped push 2-step into the mainstream and set up Craig David’s solo career. It remains one of the best-known records from the late-1990s UK garage era.
