Buggin' (feat. Dane Bowers)

True Steppers recorded the track with Dane Bowers, who handled the featured vocals and shared writing credit with Jon Lisners and Andy Lysandrou. It was issued as a NuLife single and later included on the album True Stepping. The single gave True Steppers and Dane Bowers a UK Top 10 breakthrough in spring 2000. It helped push the duo’s garage sound into the mainstream just before their larger follow-up success later that year. The track remains one of True Steppers’ best-known releases and an early marker of Dane Bowers’ garage-era profile. It also helped define the short-lived but highly visible UK garage crossover moment around 2000.
