Nausicaä (Love Will Be Revealed)

Recorded for Heavy Metal during sessions that began in July 2023 with Cameron Winter and Loren Humphrey. The track was recorded at Magic Mountain in Tuxedo, New York, with Winter on vocals and instruments, Humphrey on drums and percussion, James Richardson on trumpet, and Xan Aird on electric guitar. Released by Partisan and Play It Again Sam in 2024, Nausicaä (Love Will Be Revealed) appeared as the second track on Winter's debut solo album Heavy Metal. The song became one of the album's highlighted pieces in critical coverage, foregrounding Winter's theatrical vocal delivery and the record's loose, ornate arrangements. The track remains a central example of Winter's first solo phase outside Geese. Its placement on the acclaimed Heavy Metal album helped establish his reputation as a distinctive songwriter beyond his band work.
