Recorded in 2024 for Brat with Charli XCX and producer Finn Keane (EASYFUN). Ashley Jacobson is credited as recording engineer and Tom Norris as mixer. Released on 29 February 2024 as the lead single from Brat, the song announced Charli XCX’s new era with a sharp, club-driven statement. Contemporary reviews highlighted its self-aware, celebrity-gossip framing and its streamlined, high-impact production. It remains one of the defining tracks of the Brat campaign and a core reference point for the album’s Y2K-meets-club aesthetic. The song helped set the tone for the broader Brat-era cultural moment that followed.
