It is one of the more stripped-back pieces on In Waves, built around Jamie xx’s nostalgic interpolation of "Nights in White Satin." Critics singled it out as a simple, effective contrast to the album’s more crowded club tracks. The track extended Jamie xx’s practice of folding classic pop material into modern electronic production. Its interpolation link to the Moody Blues gives it a clear place in his sample-and-recontextualize catalogue, and it remained a fan favorite from In Waves.
