Another Sunny Day

The track was recorded for The Life Pursuit with Belle and Sebastian and producer Tony Hoffer. The album sessions took place at the Sound Factory in Los Angeles, giving the Glasgow band a brighter studio sound than much of its earlier work. Released on The Life Pursuit in 2006, it became one of the album most immediate and widely noted songs. The record marked Belle and Sebastian continued move from intimate chamber pop toward fuller, radio ready arrangements. It remains one of the best known album tracks from Belle and Sebastian mid 2000s period. The song has stayed prominent through live performances and retrospective discussion of The Life Pursuit.
