Aur Chale

Recorded for Destra’s 2006 album Independent Lady, with Dil-E-Nadan featured on the track. The release credits name Isaac Menso as composer for the song. Aur Chale was part of Destra’s Independent Lady era, when she was one of Trinidad and Tobago’s most visible soca voices. The collaboration with Dil-E-Nadan helped place it within the season’s crossover soca repertoire. The song remained in circulation beyond release and was still being performed by Dil-E-Nadan in later carnival-season shows. It has endured as one of the better-known Destra collaborations from the Independent Lady album.
