Ready for Your Love

Produced by North London duo Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson-Scott, the track features vocals from rising British singer-songwriter MNEK and was recorded as part of sessions for their debut album Sirens. Released in January 2014 as the second single from Sirens on Positiva Records, the track entered the UK Singles Chart at number four and became Gorgon City's highest-charting release, establishing them as leading figures in the UK's early-2010s deep house crossover. Digital Spy praised its stripped-back approach, noting that MNEK's rich vocal elevated an already uplifting track. The single cemented the commercial viability of UK deep house at a moment when acts like Disclosure and Duke Dumont were achieving mainstream chart success, and it served as an early showcase for MNEK's vocal talent ahead of his prolific career as a songwriter and performer.
