Move (Time To Get Loose)
Young Romantic · 2018“Move (Time To Get Loose)” was released in 2018 by Young Romantic through Entertainment One under exclusive licence to Universal Music Operations, with Positiva handling the UK dance release. The record reworked a bootleg lineage around Mall Grab’s “Feel Good House” and Carmen’s 1984 song “Time To Move,” with Young Romantic credited for production, programming and keyboards and Samuel Wills credited for mixing, recording and mastering. The single arrived after months as an underground club hit and was named Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1. Its official release turned a widely circulated bootleg combination into a licensed crossover dance single with support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Danny Howard. “Move (Time To Get Loose)” remains documented as Young Romantic’s breakout release and as the official form of a bootleg that had spread through YouTube, SoundCloud and club play. Its later remix package, with versions by Joe Stone, Krystal Klear, Star. One and Elliot Adamson, preserved the record’s club circulation beyond the original single.
