Take My Hand

Treasure Fingers recorded Take My Hand as a self-released digital track in 2011, during the period after his Fool's Gold and Defected releases. The track was produced by Ashley Jones and built around elements of Captain Sky's Moonchild. The track circulated as a free-download disco-house cut through blogs and Treasure Fingers' own channels. It reflected the online club-release economy of the early 2010s, where sample-led tracks often spread outside traditional single campaigns. Take My Hand later returned on Treasure Fingers' 2020 Bandcamp compilation Unreleased Songs That You Might've Downloaded Off A Blog Back In The Day. Its documented Captain Sky source keeps it relevant to collectors tracing modern disco-house edits back to late-1970s funk records.
