The lineup credited on the album includes Matthew Iwanusa, Jimmy Carbonetti, Stefan Marolachakis, Sam Hopkins, and Jeff Berrall. “Thankful” appeared on Caveman’s 2011 debut CoCo Beware, an album that drew favorable critical notices and helped establish the band’s Brooklyn indie-rock profile. Reviewers singled the song out as one of the album’s standout cuts. The track remains part of CoCo Beware’s core running order on later releases and streaming editions, preserving its place in the band’s early catalog. It continues to be cited alongside the album’s best-known songs when the record is discussed.
