We Are Walking Out

Little Scout recorded We Are Walking Out for the 2011 album Take Your Light, with Jonathan Boulet recording and mixing at his home in Sydney and at DOMC Studios in Brisbane. Scott Bromiley and Little Scout produced the album, with Adam Dempsey mastering it at Deluxe Mastering in Melbourne. The track was issued as the first single from Little Scout's debut album Take Your Light. It received community radio and triple j Unearthed attention in Australia and helped introduce the Brisbane band to a wider national indie audience. We Are Walking Out remains one of Little Scout's best-known songs from their debut period. Its placement on Take Your Light and continued digital availability preserve it as a representative recording from early-2010s Australian indie pop.
