Supergrass · 1997
Recording

The track was recorded for In It for the Money with Gaz Coombes, Mick Quinn, Danny Goffey and Rob Coombes. The album sessions took place at Sawmills Studio in Cornwall, with Supergrass and John Cornfield producing. Released as a single in 1997, it followed the success of In It for the Money and showed Supergrass moving into more reflective songwriting after their debut album. The single reached number 18 on the UK Singles Chart. It remains one of the key singles from Supergrass second album and a notable example of the band broader melodic range. The track has endured through compilations and retrospectives of the group strongest late 1990s work.
