Never Letting Go

Recorded in 1990 by the Italian FPI Project, the trio of Marco Fratty, Corrado Presti, and Roberto Intrallazzi, who formed the project around their Italian house production work. The original single was issued in Germany on ZYX Records, with later UK issue on Rumour Records. The track arrived during the early wave of Italian house and helped establish FPI Project’s club-oriented sound beyond Italy. Its UK chart run confirmed the record as a crossover dance single, peaking in the Top 75. It remains one of FPI Project’s signature records and has continued to circulate through later remixes and dance compilations. Sampling and remix listings show that it stayed active in club culture well after its original release.
