The Rhythm of Vision

The Rhythm of Vision

Robert Hood · 1994
Recording

Robert Hood recorded The Rhythm of Vision in Detroit for Minimal Nation, first issued in 1994 on Axis Records. The release was produced by Robert Hood during his early solo period after Underground Resistance. The track formed part of Minimal Nation, a landmark release that reduced techno to stark patterns and functional movement. It helped establish Hood's reputation for a stripped-down production language with strong club impact. The Rhythm of Vision remained in Hood's catalogue through later M-Plant reissues and retrospective releases. Its continued circulation links it to the foundation of minimal techno and Hood's long-running production aesthetic.
