Original Nuttah

UK Apachi recorded Original Nuttah with Shy FX for SOUR Records after adapting lyrics he had written in the late 1980s to a Shy FX track. Shy FX produced the record, with UK Apachi supplying the vocal and lyrics. Released in 1994 on SOUR, the single became one of the first jungle records to break into the UK Top 40. It reached number 39 on the UK Official Singles Chart and helped define ragga jungle's move from pirate-radio and rave circulation into the national charts. The track remains one of the best-known jungle anthems of the 1990s and a signature record for both UK Apachi and Shy FX. Its vocal hook, bass pressure, and chart impact made it a lasting reference point for later jungle and drum and bass producers.
