Bad Ass !

“Bad Ass!” was released in 1996 by Aphrodite & Micky Finn on Urban Takeover. The track was written and produced by Gavin King and Michael Hearn during the early Urban Takeover period. The record helped define Urban Takeover’s first run of mid-1990s club 12-inch releases. It became one of the best-known Aphrodite and Micky Finn collaborations from the label’s formative catalogue. “Bad Ass!” remains closely associated with the Urban Takeover sound and the Aphrodite and Micky Finn production partnership. Its continued presence in reissues, DJ mixes and collector listings has kept it visible as a key 1990s club track.
