Rainbow Dub

Recorded by Williams Traffic, the Franco-American duo of Franck Williams and Nicolas Kantorowicz, for the 1999 Rainbow EP issued in France on Catalogue/Le Village Vert. The track later resurfaced on the 2001 Williams Traffic & the Fugitive album. "Rainbow Dub" became one of Williams Traffic’s signature tracks from the late-1990s French dub/electronic crossover scene. It was highlighted on the 2002 More Dub Infusions compilation and noted in contemporary coverage of the duo’s dub-inflected style. The track continued to circulate beyond its original release through compilations, DJ sets, and digital services, keeping it among the duo’s best-known recordings. Its appearance on More Dub Infusions helped preserve it as a reference point for early-2000s dub-electronic fusion.
