So Hooked on Your Lovin (Love mix)

“So Hooked On Your Lovin (Mousse T.'s Disco Shizzle)” was released in 2018 by Selace, the project of Felix Buxton and vocalist Gia, on Defected. The remix was handled by Mousse T., transforming the original Selace recording into a funk-driven club version with bassline, guitar riffs and extended dancefloor structure. The single marked Selace’s debut on Defected and placed a Basement Jaxx-linked project into the label’s late-2010s house catalogue. Mousse T.’s Disco Shizzle became the release’s defining club version, drawing broad DJ support and repeated Traxsource chart appearances. “So Hooked On Your Lovin (Mousse T.'s Disco Shizzle)” remains Selace’s best-known version of the song and a durable Defected catalogue track. Its later association with Selace and ATFC’s “Hooked On Bad Habits” extended the record’s life within the Glitterbox and Defected ecosystem.
