Open Your Mind

Kleeer originally recorded Open Your Mind for the 1979 album Winners at Power Station Studio in New York City with producers Dennis King and Kleeer. Dave Lee later reworked the track as the Joey Negro Seeekret Mix for Z Records' Remixed With Love By Joey Negro Vol. Two in 2016. The Seeekret Mix placed a late-1970s Atlantic funk recording into Dave Lee's curated re-edit series for DJs and collectors. Its release connected Kleeer's catalogue to Z Records' wider programme of extended disco and boogie reconstructions. Open Your Mind Joey Negro Seeekret Mix remains one of the Kleeer reworks associated with Dave Lee's Remixed With Love project. It helped keep Kleeer's Atlantic-era material active in modern club and compilation contexts.
