Some Things

Recorded for The Herbaliser's 2018 album Bring Out the Sound, with Rodney P delivering the rap verses and Tiece providing sung vocals. Jake Wherry and Ollie Teeba produced the track as part of the group's live-instrumentation-based sessions. The song added a vocal narrative to an album otherwise dominated by instrumentals, pairing two London guest performers with The Herbaliser's cinematic production. It was also selected for a 2018 seven-inch release alongside Takedown. The track remains a representative late-period collaboration for The Herbaliser and a notable meeting of established UK hip-hop voices. An instrumental version was included on the expanded digital edition of Bring Out the Sound.
