Recorded for The Herbaliser's eighth studio album, Bring Out the Sound, with Jake Wherry and Ollie Teeba directing the group's live-band production. The instrumental was built from newly recorded performances rather than borrowed samples. Opening the album, the track introduced its combination of choppy breakbeats, turntable work and cinematic live instrumentation. It marked The Herbaliser's return after a six-year gap between studio albums. The track remains a compact statement of The Herbaliser's sample-free approach on Bring Out the Sound. Its dense rhythm and soundtrack-like arrangement preserve the group's established balance of beat-making and live musicianship.
