Produced by Tim Simenon and Streets Ahead (Shem McCauley) as a collaboration between electronic pioneer John Foxx and Bomb The Bass founder Tim Simenon in 1990; recorded at Pulse studio and mixed at Matrix Studios between October 1989 and January 1990. An influential breakbeat and house fusion track that became foundational to the development of the breaks genre, blending hip-hop beat cut-ups with electronic production at a pivotal moment in early 1990s UK dance music. Recognized as a landmark underground breakbeat production that provided a blueprint for the breaks genre, with its production techniques and sample-heavy approach influencing subsequent developments in electronic dance music and helping to establish the aesthetic that later artists like DJ Icey, The Bassbin Twins, and Fatboy Slim would build upon.
