Ricky Chopra, Elvis McFarlane, Frank McFarlane and Colin Grainge collaborated on the recording in the early 1990s. Ricky recalled building the tracks on multitrack tape because their sampler held only six seconds of audio. First issued on Ohm Records in 1991, the track received a wider release through Faze 2 in 1992. It reached number 37 on the UK Singles Chart that August and remained on the charts for 5 weeks. The recording survives in documented DJ Die sets from 1992 and returned as a digital single in 2012, extending its availability beyond the original vinyl releases.
