It's Not Right but It's Okay (KCC's Release The Love Groove Bootleg Mix)

Whitney Houston recorded It's Not Right but It's Okay for the My Love Is Your Love album with Rodney Jerkins producing the original version. Keith KCC Franklin remixed the KCC's Release The Love Groove Bootleg Mix, which first circulated on UK bootleg vinyl in 1999 before later official digital release by Arista. Released in 1999, the KCC mix turned Houston's R&B single into a club-focused house version for the UK dance market. The parent single reached number three on the UK Official Singles Chart and number one on Billboard's Dance Club Play chart. The mix remains one of the best-known alternative club versions of It's Not Right but It's Okay alongside the Thunderpuss mixes. It has stayed in circulation through Arista dance-vault editions and digital reissues.
