Cloudburst

Recorded in Los Angeles in 1976 for the album 'Frames' on Revelation Records, the session featured Frank Strazzeri on keyboards leading a small ensemble in a fusion of jazz improvisation and funk-influenced rhythms. Released on the independent Revelation Records label, the track showcased Strazzeri's sophisticated keyboard work within the mid-1970s jazz-fusion movement, appealing to listeners seeking instrumental depth beyond mainstream pop-jazz. 'Cloudburst' has been circulated among rare groove and jazz-funk collectors for decades, with 'Frames' becoming a sought-after album in crate-digging communities drawn to its blend of electric piano textures and propulsive rhythm sections.
