Recording

Recorded by MFSB at Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia during sessions for the Mysteries of the World album. The track featured the core MFSB ensemble under the direction of Bobby Martin and the Philadelphia International creative team. Released as the title track of MFSB's final studio album for Philadelphia International, it showcased the orchestra's transition into the sophisticated dance and jazz-funk sound of the early 1980s. The record became a favourite among club DJs and dance music audiences. The track developed a strong reputation within rare-groove, disco and dance music circles and remains one of MFSB's most celebrated late-period recordings. Its lush arrangement and driving rhythm have sustained its popularity with collectors and DJs.
