I Found Lovin' (12" Mix)

Recorded for the Fatback Band’s 1983 album With Love and first issued by Master Mix Records. It was written by Johnny Flippin and Michael Walker and produced by Bill Curtis and Gerry Thomas. The track gave the group a UK chart presence in 1984, where it entered the Official Singles Chart and reached the Top 50. It became one of the Fatback Band’s better-known 1980s singles. The song remained a durable catalog title for the group and was later covered and sampled by other artists. Documented versions include Steve Walsh’s 1987 cover, with additional later uses listed on WhoSampled.
