Special Love

Special Love was recorded by Jestofunk with Jocelyn Brown as featured lead vocalist and was written by Alessandro Staderini, Claudio Rispoli, Francesco Farias and Paola Mattioli. The original production was credited to Alessandro Staderini, Claudio Moz-Art Rispoli and Francesco Farias. The single accompanied the release of Jestofunk's Universal Mother and connected the Italian production team with one of club music's most recognisable vocalists. Steve Silk Hurley's remix was among the works tied to his 1999 Grammy nomination for Remixer of the Year, Non-Classical. Special Love remained one of Jestofunk's best-known vocal club records through successive remix editions. Later reworks, including Micky More and Andy Tee mixes, kept the song active in the soulful-house catalogue.
