My Life

Dajae recorded Everyday My Life with Felix Stallings Jr., who co-wrote the song with Karen Gordon. The original Kid Dynamite issue included the Everyday Extended Mix, L.A. Williams Everyday Life Mix and Everyday Dub, with later Defected editions adding Junior Jack, Cevin Fisher, DJ Pierre and Felix Da Housecat mixes. The single was first issued by Kid Dynamite Inc. in 2001 and then licensed to Defected for wider UK club release. Its Junior Jack and Cevin Fisher mixes placed Dajae back into the international house circuit after her 1990s Chicago records with Cajmere. Everyday My Life remained in circulation through Defected compilations and later digital catalogue editions. Its remix package connects Dajae's Chicago vocal identity with the early-2000s European house market.
