Spirit

The single was issued by Peppermint Jam in 2000 with the A-side Spirit presented in a Masters At Work mix. The MAW version was remix-produced at MAW Studios in New York, with Cunnie Williams, Marco Quast and Oliver Dommaschk credited as writers. The release connected Cunnie Williams' Star Hotel-era Peppermint Jam catalogue with the New York house remix circuit through Masters At Work. It also paired Spirit with Barry's Mood, remixed by Ferry Ultra and Mousse T. Spirit remained associated with the Masters At Work mix and later appeared in the group's retrospective catalogue. Digital reissues on Peppermint Jam and Foliage kept the track in circulation as part of Williams' club-facing work.
