Shined on Me (Extended Mix)

Eric Miller recorded and produced the track under the Praise Cats name, with Andrea Love on vocals. The released single credits E-Smoove as producer and Eric Miller as writer. The track became a club and dance-chart hit in 2002, reaching No. 1 on the UK Dance Singles Chart and later peaking at No. 56 on the UK Singles Chart. It helped define the early-2000s Subliminal/Subliminal Soul house sound in the UK. The song has remained a durable house staple, spawning later remixes and reissues, and it has been covered and sampled by later dance acts. Its continued circulation through remix packages kept it active on club playlists well beyond its original run.
