Kevin Saunderson produced and mixed the track for Praise, with Paris Grey on lead vocals. Ann Saunderson, Rachel Choate and Members of the House supplied backing vocals. The single became Inner City's fifth US dance-chart number one, spending two weeks at the top in 1992. It also reached number 24 in Britain, while contemporary reviewers praised Grey's singing and its uplifting message. Mixmag ranked it number 62 among its 100 Greatest Dance Singles of All Time in 1996. Its piano-led arrangement and message of unity helped establish it as a lasting club favourite.
