Sam Ellis wrote the song with George Lyter, with Jay Rifkin credited as producer on documented releases. Eric Kupper supplied mixing work for the later Kupper versions, while LuvDup handled the Hairy 3 in 1 Mix that circulated on 1990s club compilations. Released in 1994, the single became Sam Ellis's only UK chart entry when a 1999 issue reached number 100 on the Official Singles Chart. It also reached number 22 on the Official Dance Singles Chart in December 1994. The track remained in circulation through Eric Kupper, LuvDup, Almighty, and Religion mixes across later 12-inch and CD editions. Its inclusion on Cream Live tied it to the mid-1990s UK superclub circuit.
