Smile (Joey Negro club mix)

The club mix was produced and remixed by Dave Lee under his Joey Negro alias for Z Records, with Kendra Cash featured on vocals. It reworked Cash's downtempo soul recording into a seven-minute club version for the 2012 Mistura digital single. Released by Z Records in September 2012, the track connected Mistura's modern club-production identity with the label's continuing soulful dance catalogue. It was later included on The Mystery of Mistura, Dave Lee's 2012 album project collecting the alias's work. The mix remained in Z Records' catalogue through later Dave Lee and label compilations, including Joey Negro presents On A Soulful Tip Vol. 2 and In Our Groove. It stands as one of the later Mistura tracks most closely tied to Lee's post-2000s disco-house productions.
