Recorded in Dan Carey’s south London studio in Streatham during the sessions for Everybody Down, with Kate Tempest and Dan Carey shaping the track together. The single was later issued as a 2014 Big Dada release and included a Mike Skinner remix on the four-track edition. ‘Circles’ arrived as one of the standout early singles from Everybody Down, the debut album that helped establish Tempest as a major spoken-word and rap voice.
