Can You Feel It

The Jacksons recorded Can You Feel It in March 1980 for the album Triumph. Michael Jackson and Jackie Jackson wrote and arranged the song, Michael and Randy Jackson sang the lead vocals, and The Jacksons produced the recording with Greg Phillinganes as associate producer. The single became one of Triumph's major international hits, reaching number 6 on the UK Official Singles Chart and number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100. Its large-scale video, The Triumph, extended the group's visual ambition during the early music-video era. Can You Feel It remains one of The Jacksons' most recognisable post-Motown recordings. Its chorus, orchestral scale and video imagery helped keep the song prominent in later compilations, television uses and sample-based dance records.
