Sad Song

The remix reworks Sad Song from The Bird of Music, recorded by Erika Forster, Annie Hart and Heather D Angelo with producer Rod Sherwood. Pacific created the remix for the Reverse Migration remix project released through Our Secret Record Company. Released on Reverse Migration in 2008, it formed part of Au Revoir Simone remix companion to The Bird of Music. The collection placed the Brooklyn trio songs alongside reworks by artists including Pacific, Darkel, Alexis Taylor and the Teenagers. It remains a documented remix from the band early catalogue and reflects the late 2000s indie remix exchange around The Bird of Music. The track keeps Sad Song connected to the Reverse Migration release cycle.
