Pied Piper

Bob & Marcia · 1971
Recording

Bob & Marcia released the track as a Trojan single, produced by Bob Andy. It was issued in the UK in 1971 as their follow-up to "Young, Gifted and Black." The single became a UK hit and carried the duo further into the mainstream after their breakthrough success. It reached No. 11 on the Official Singles Chart in 1971. It remains one of Bob & Marcia's best-known recordings and a standard title in retrospectives of early-1970s British reggae. The song is still associated with the duo's crossover success beyond Jamaica.
